The Institute is looking forward to the second Institute Board Meeting September 12-14 in the Twin Cities.  The Board will hear staff proposals for lay leadership and pastoral preparation curricula, as well as specifics on the developing graduate program.  In March 2008, the Board gave Institute staff the green-light to create programs for students of Lutheran theology to pursue the degrees of Master of Arts (MA) and Master of Sacred Theology (STM), the later being a second level professional degree used to prepare students for a variety of evangelical vocations.
