Chemnitz Track.
Students wishing to be certified in the Chemnitz track will complete eight lay courses taken from among the following:

Foundational Courses

• The Old Testament for Lutherans (LB 101)
• The New Testament for Lutherans (LB 102)
• The Theology of the Cross: Paul & Luther (LB 103)
• The Lutheran Confessions (LH 100)
• The History of Doctrine: 100-1450) (LH 101)
• An Introduction to Lutheran Theology (LT 100)
• The Contemporary Theological Context (LT 101)

Electives

• Elective in Bible (Any LB course above 102)
• Elective in Church History (Any LH course above 101)
• Elective in Theology (Any LT course above 100)

Students believing they have a solid understanding of the foundational courses may satisfy their eight courses entirely from upper level electives. It is the choice of the student.
