Chemnitz Track.
Students wishing to be certified in the Chemnitz track will complete eight lay courses taken from among the following:
Foundational Courses
- The Old Testament for Lutherans (LB 101)
- The New Testament for Lutherans (LB 102)
- The Theology of the Cross: Paul & Luther (LB 103)
- The Lutheran Confessions (LH 100)
- The History of Doctrine: 100-1450) (LH 101)
- An Introduction to Lutheran Theology (LT 100)
- The Contemporary Theological Context (LT 101)
Electives
- Elective in Bible (Any LB course above 102)
- Elective in Church History (Any LH course above 101)
- Elective in Theology (Any LT course above 100)
Students believing they have a solid understanding of the foundational courses may satisfy their eight courses entirely from upper level electives. It is the choice of the student.
